Since last August we have been having fun going through the process of registering our 1993 plus 4 in France. The whole story is best left to another post, but we now have a French registered car. A photo of the document I will try to put in as a photo.
The important items on the official document are that it is registered as a Morgan Four Four with power of 11CV.

This works as follows:

It is a four four because Morgan get type approval for the plus 4 as a variant of the 4/4 with a 1994cc engine.

The car was subjected to a 3,5 hour inspection at the french DREAL workshops, when many parts including the underside were photographed. Much info was supplied by Myself and Morgan. Finally after three months of considering the dossier a compliance certificate was issued, but with a power rating of 11.
Knowing that other plus 4's were registered as 9CV, we questioned the 11. After a further month, DREAL admitted the mistake, and issued an Attestation. You have to smile.

We then embarked upon the registration, visited the Prefecture 9 times. Finally the registration was accepted, but the attestation was ignored!
We were told at the Prefecture to accept the registration, and then start the process of amendment to a 9CV

So a we are now the registered owners of a standard four four of 11CV, and it is official. Perhaps a rare Morgan.
We are now so well known at the Prefecture, that they may issue us with a loyalty card - 10 visits, and you get a free registration, ha,ha
