I kind of doubt it. The jugs get hot fairly quickly, long before the oil is hot. The urban cooling was happening long before the oil bypass to the oil cooler even happened.

I would have to look at the space, but if right behind the faux grill the bulkhead piece was remove/modified, a small radiator type fan could be installed forcing air past the oil canister which would dissipate out the side vents.

When I worked on mine, I was reluctant to start cutting body pieces
