They are all using Waze and knew in advance.
I agree with the issue, on the B3400 into our town there are often pedestrians and bikes (and often cows) on the narrow twisty bits where there are no paths. I try and give a single flash warning but often don't see the brake lights go on. Not only has the gift to give failed but also the skill of receipt.
