No doubt there will be plenty of classic restoration work on rusted out 1930s-2010s chassis vehicles, and they deliberately kept the wood in CX to keep the woodshop busy. I dont think tours will be affected!

I am one who *would* consider a CX (/Elise etc) but not a new trad (sliding pillar suspension? that was out of date in the 30s! grease points?) although I doff my cap at the owner-maintainer community for as long as they exist! A £35-40K CX would still make a Mazda MX look like value, but would be relatively affordable versus a Focus ST etc...
