Second hand Morgans will (in my personal view) mainly go to new Morgan customers.
If they have a choice between a second hand steel-chassis Plus 4 and a CX PlusFour with better handling, more safety features and a better engine I'm not sure if they see the uniqueness of the original trad.
I would probably go for the CX (if I could afford it at that moment).

Clearly the cost is a key area, but if better handling, more safety features, and a better engine swayed enthusiasts, there would be no classic car scene.

The CX platform isn't likely to attract the classic car enthusiasts.

Reading the Evo ECOTY article 2019 car of the year , the plus 6 is pitched up against 5 cars ranging from a Renault megane rs Trophy- r , Merc amg a45 , Cayman gt4 718 , Jag xe sv project 8 and merc amg gt pro , the plus 6 is let down by poor handling on track and bumpy ride when on UK roads . They like its character and roof off but it can't compete with any of these cars in the handling dept or on anything but flat surfaces. We don't just want to plod along with a Mog we want to be up there snapping at their heels ! grin2

Plus 6 came last of the 6 .
