To me the retro look is not the problem so much as the fact that a huge number of body components are not interchangeable, doors fit worse than an 1800s coach, etc. I would also suggest that much as I like them sidescreens have had their day. I do not have problems with the Easy Up Hood and mine does not leak however when it is down, from an aesthetic point of view, it should be completely out of sight.

The Aero in part met the criteria I am on about but it did not go far enough.

To my mind mudguards, bonnets, cowls, and doors should be completely interchangeable and what is handcrafted of the central cockpit should be made to fit with the other parts - not that these other parts are crafted as on off's to fit the cockpit.

My impression is that the PlusSix has offset wipers which would be an improvement on the trad models but perhaps it is also time to re-visit the windscreen and give it more rake, even slightly curved, and fit decent wipers
