Most professional and independant fixed bonnet stay solutions appear to employ the fixed lower rear bonnet catch (bolted to top inner edge of wing) and its matching spring loaded catch bracket on the bonnet to support same when open. This would work fine on my 3.7 Roadster for the nearside, but drivers side (RHD) has an extended bulkhead that requires a flat lower catch bracket bolted to the outside of footwell housing, the holes for which can be seen below adjacent to thin red line mark on wing.

This precludes attaching the pivoting bonnet stay to the inside of this lower catch as with nearside. Thoughts are to drill a hole above this bracket to support the bonnet stay pivot with large spreader washers each side to add support from the thin aluminium, subject to access and clearance when bonnet closed of course. I just wondered if anyone had come up with an alternate solution for this particular model.
