This is my reccolection of events a few years ago, which resulted in the Bleazey Box mount - happy to be corrected by Phil , I was just driver/observer and take no credit !

Phil and I were in conversation about the various clunks and bangs our M3W's made during normal and spirited driving.
He suggested an investiigation session which I was more than happy to take part in.
He arrived at my place with his 3 wheeler fited with a temporary transmission cover where the lid could be removed to watch the works around the bevel box to help determine the source of the bangs etc.
To our joint amazement, under acceleration the front end of the box was rising under acceleration , dropping back as the torque reduced.
On overrun in a low gear when the box was in a raised attitude , it could be made to drop very hard resulting in the bang we know and hate.
Phil went home buzzing with ideas and so the Bleazey box mount was born.
The rest is history, apart from having fitted on to mine , and ditching the NVH , I have not heard a bang from the bevel box area since.
