Dare I say, my younger daughter (27) is fed to the back teeth of all the blame being piled on "the young".
She and her BF have been extremely diligent in following the rules, and both are irked by the implied criticism.
FWIW, when I went to Southwold last Thursday to collect beer, the town was really thronged with old codgers, no doubt having a get-together to moan about young people. I didn't stop for lunch there, as I was self-isolating (having just arrived from France), but there were so many people I wouldn't have wanted to. I only got out of the van to load the beer at the Adnams distribution centre.
