You may as well take the train (a degrading experience) as drive on a motorway, it's just an uninvolving way of getting from A to B..
Since my retirement I avoid them as much is possible, which means always down here but forced into using them when visiting our two daughters, one in Cambridge and the other in Kent. Luckily our son lives in Cornwall so a lot nicer route.
The minor routes are the picturesque and involving one's for sure.
Back on thread the "boys" will soon find a fix for this speed limiting for sure so I wouldn't raise your blood pressure unnecessarily right now.
Tell me! 6 hours to travel from Cumbria down to the factory on Friday 😠. The M6 was like a car park in both directions! Little wonder I rarely travel south these days.
