Going to be interesting to see what happens given the chaotic application of temporary speed limits in the UK which often require you to vary speed by 20 mph from temprary sign to temporary sign. One sign says 50, next one is 60 then down to 40 and back up to 60 and then to a permanent 50 - all in half a mile without change of circumstances.
To a degree I wouldnt mind this new system coming about in built up areas because I often find that I dont know the speed limit at any one time, just drifting along with the flow of traffic. Nearly got caught by this issue 7 weeks ago ( hoping that the absence of an NIP in 7 weeks says I am OK) but my problem would be on the open road where I go faster than the limits assuming no plod or scameras.
