I had a similar problem with my car in 2011. The fuse for the pump/ignition kept blowing. My garage found out the factory had screwed wood screws through the wiring loom or cables causing a short circuit, after some time rubbing and vibrations.
Sadly I failed to ask where on the car this happened.
