I think Pat may well have the skills .... if it's the overall look of the neat 2 seater rear end he's after rather than a millimeter perfect copy then some wood framework changes and fabricating rear quarters and deck might be a lot less work. Only he can know his personal tolerance for un-originality and elbow grease ... it certainly appears an achievable project if the motivation is there.
If he can do the work himself then a new hood and tonneau may actually be the biggest expense
