Not a big fan of 'modern stuff'. All a bit too sanitised and boring. Drove a mates Porker (C4S) a few years ago and thought the performance and engineering was amazing, but ultimately would get very bored of it very quickly. Bit like owning a speedboat - once you've driven really fast in a straightline, and done a few tight circles, there's not much else to do with it.....
I'd probably go for something old and British - MGB Roadster, Sptifire, Sunbeam Alpine or equivalent (if two seat, soft top is a criteria). Something I can tinker with, and get the best out of it with driver skill rather than electronic aids.
