Is it feasible to consider removing the separate flasher module and connecting the new adapter harness to the leads that connected to said flasher? Therefore we would be using the 18 pin module flasher cadence and removing another potential source of failure.

Those were my thoughts Andy, relying on the built in flasher cadence of the 18 pin unit and so dispensing with external flasher relay of early models.

Intrigued by Alister's comment about removing VSS feed to TSM to keep ECU happy. This in the light of Lauren's car which presently has the VSS feed to ECU removed to keep the idling happy confused2
