Our Braun food processor packed in this week. Bought in 1977 so a good life! The failure is due to a cracked plastic drive shaft. I reckon I could fix it BUT
wants a new one. Ordered off a survey site I do and get points for so a “freebie”. I’m going to try a repair anyway out of curiosity.
Last week our newish Bosch garden Vac/Blower played up. The rotary on/off speed switch was jammed. It was always a bit tight. I contacted Bosch for a warranty repair but I managed to fix it. It looks like when being factory assembled it was slightly misaligned and catching on the outer cover. Now free and easy to turn.
