Our eldest daughter is a Scientist but doesn't do housework tasks and posts her mending items from her family of two and husbands to her Mum, including several years of Rainbows thru Brownies to Girl Guides badge sewing onto uniforms. Then her Sons Cubs, and soon Scouts uniform badges..
She will proudly tell you she has never ironed an item of clothing either but washes for Africa with a very sporty family.
Their Daughter joined the Air Cadets a couple of years back so our Daughter bought her an iron and ironing board as part of her Birthday present
She is very precious to us but it does make you wonder sometimes
