I often rib my mate about his Ferrari 365GTC. IIRC he bought it for about £60K and sold it a year or so later for similar. 10 years later it was up for sale for £600K....
Yes all because they have the in vogue requisite 12 cylinders.....in my experience not great cars to drive!
He must have a thing for the V12 as he's just bought a 400 at a considerably more reasonable price.....
Absolutely, as in some circles anything less that 12 cylinders whether flat or V shaped just doesn't cut it
In fairness to him, he did swap it for a Ford Model A, a Porsche 928 and a Mk1 Golf (plus another I think). He's usually a Porsche man, having had everything from a 356 to a GT3RS, but appreciates all forms of automobilia (he even likes my Mog and MG).
His daily drive is an Audi S6 5.2 V10 - I think it has a Lamborghini engine? Lots of fun for a smidge over £10K
