Well I don’t post here often but I do feel compelled to reply. Probably repeating myself and not wishing to come across as to smug, but I am obviously the real lucky Plus 6 morgan owner as mine just keeps getting better!
19 plate ex factory car, hard top on for winter .
Running on winter tyres currently .
Heading towards 30,000 miles.
Uses no oil or water .
Never had radiator fail.
Aircon never re gassed and the aircon is on permanently, never switched it off.
Gets thrashed to death, average mpg on dash last week 23 mpg.
Always in Sport mode, and sport plus as soon as I’m out of town (addicted to power and pops and bangs).
Used in all weathers and is currently filthier than the farm truck but in my eyes looks cool.
Totally comfortable with no traction control,cos it’s driven all the time, so you get used to it and learn to feel for grip.
It gets out of shape over big bumps and humps, at speed in wet or dry, but it teaches you when to back off.
It is looked after by the factory, they know my first name, not because I’m always there , but they seem to have an interest in my abused higher milage 6.
Only things ever done was the Overseer light came on once after Castle Coombe track day , fixed next day in an hour and windscreen wiper flew off on M5 in rain, rang factory, fitted and gone in half hour, no charge.
And no brake issues, 100 mph plus, full hard breaking stops you in seconds.
And mine doesn’t leak, and doors not draughty, as they up graded door seals for free.
So is it a case of the more you use , the less you lose?
And one last thing, the member who last sent me a private message many month ago about my last post claiming I worked for the Italians!! I can assure you all , I definitely don’t 😁
