So if I have a BEV I should add €25 to the running cost of the vehicle for every time I recharge it. Perhaps, as a pensioner, my time is less valuable but if I was running a business this is certainly a consideration. Certainly travelling for business you also have the problem of finding a charging point that is both unoccupied and functioning.
Looked at in that light it makes BEV cars less economic than they would have us believe.
For personal use I can only perceive a BEV that can sit on a home charger as a viable shopping trolly, or short distance commuter, where the daily range is less than can be recharged overnight. Going on holidays with one is for me unthinkable.
