I’ve tried as well.
Took the plugs out to make it more easy for the battery and not to overheat the starter motor.
Let the engine turn over for a few minutes.
Didn’t see any significant rise in oil level.
Put the plugs in again and let started the engine at idle.
It took a few minutes at idle before the oil level was back to a normal level again.
