If you are going to go to the trouble of rerouting the oil vent line from the crankcase, here is another solution to consider:

This mod was originally conceived to eliminate oil residue build up in the intake manifold, but is also useful to eliminate oil burping up from the crankcase during a cold start after a longish layup.
