The Trads will find their level, don't panic Mr Mannering!
There's only a small overlap between the Trad market and the CX market. Obviously driven by cost, but also by appeal. It's rather like the advent of the Aeros. The money followed the Aeros, but always limited numbers.
Trads will always have a following. It might not sustain current expectations on residuals, but there are enough old blokes out there to sustain some sort of balance. The question is rather more about whether there are enough rich blokes/ladies out there to sustain CX production, and who want to use a CX as a daily, because as a weekend car that deal makes no sense.
