Hopefully the drive belt will be reliable...unless a stone gets in it of course...I know of a few BMW 800s which have wrecked their belts with stones trapped between the belt and sprocket. I got away with it on mine......just!
I wonder what the life of the belt will be and how easy it is for an owner to replace?
Isn't there some sort of "belt guard" from a motorcycle shop one could adapt? Or perhaps a quick release "bash" plate of sorts?
