My P6 is a second car, and regularly gets a run out, but probably no more than 5,000 miles per year in total. I had one early issue affecting reliability which MMC thought was earthing, I think it was a latent fuel issue due to the car having less than 1,000 miles on the clock after 18 months. Still minor niggles to be sorted, but nothing that would cause me to worry about taking it on a long trip. She performed well on the run down to and from Beaulieu.

I don't know whether the market value is now more or less than I paid for her, but I don't really care. I'm just going to enjoy the driving for as long as I can.
