I remember testing an Insight at Millbrook quite a few years ago, I wasn't too bad on the alpine route, but the test hill section (whatever it was called) very nearly defeated it - but all credit to Honda for risking the development, I saw one a couple of weeks ago and thought it was interesting that some are still running
My local Honda dealer lent me one of the first generation (1999/2000) Insights. Very fetching in pale blue metallic and funky rear spats, futuristic instruments, but majorly hampered dragging around the huge battery. I wrote a review for our local paper and summarised it in one word, "why". I guess I hadn't foreseen the rise of EV's. There's a similar one for sale https://www.carandclassic.com/l/C1912521
