The latter is true, which is why I even paid extra for the old roof in 2003. The modern folding roof was cheaper.

Wouldn't it have made more sense to completely abandon the 1930s design lines with the new car? To inspire younger potential customers? As it is with the Supersport, it's a bit like someone wearing a deerstalker hat and trendy white sneakers at the same time.

To still incorporate some tradition, which is part of the brand identity, they could have built a modern design with references to the Morgan SLR.
