Fantastic to see the Supersport so highly rated in such exalted and expensive company.....kind of puts what you get for the money into context. I still struggle with the boot, as its not that practical and I do wonder with the side screens off how much luggage carrying capacity is really available. It would be interesting to ask owners how they intend to use the Supersport, do they see it undertaking long continental holiday trips, where space is at a premium, or just short weekends away etc.. Are the needs and expectations of the car by which we traditionalists judge it, the same as those of the new owners.
I hope they extend the CXV tub to the Plus Four, with the improved door closure, to hopefully produce greater economies of scale by use of common parts. The Plus Four is a great package, in my case it has made the ownership experience far more enjoyable, less onerous and more capable of meeting my needs as I get older and less agile/ mobile. I wouldn't go back to a trad now, been there, done that and now its time to move onto the next level in the Morgan ownership experience. The Plus Four has significantly moved the goal posts and my expectations of what you get from a Morgan ownership experience, in essence less time spent maintaining and more time spent enjoying and driving, with one exception wire wheels are still a bugger to keep clean but look great.
