M3W Services have in my view developed and manufactured a very nice alternative motor mounting kit.
God job, we certainly need all the help we can get to keep our vehicles rolling.
I'm just sharing my experience without any intent of bashing M3W Services, I hope that this is understood.
According to Phil Bleazey the likely culprit in my case is the variable amount of effort S&S put into balancing the crank shafts, meaning that I have a relativly "unbalanced" crank.
Could well be, Phil is a clever guy and highly experienced regarding the 3-wheelers.
How to proceed now? Maybe I just have to live with the vibrations on idle as is?
It would be useful, I think, with a top mounted damper of some kind restricting the sideways rocking of the engine.
Something for M3W Services perhaps?
That amount of movement looks fine, were you expecting there to be no movement?
