Yep, a good accurate write up and summation Wiscos. You are right about the cowl fixing being a huge pita, I keep looking at other fixings, but haven't come up with a better idea.......yet.

I've strapped my toolkit on top of my battery with a couple of small aerolastics, which gets rid of one more thing, and have solved the problem of where to put all the small clobber, like phone, gloves, keys, sun glasses etc etc by making a small parcel shelf that runs the width of the car and sits on the trans. tunnel.

The horn is hopeless, and the switch could do with an easier location to hit it quickly.

As the rev counter is masked by the steering wheel, I swapped the speedo and rev counter around, as I feel is is more important to read the rev counter personally. I've always got a pretty good idea how fast I'm going.
