It is entirely possible that I am just being a wimp these days...spent a winter in the arctic a long while back and did a couple of thousand km on skidoos - the heated grips gave up after a couple of weeks and the nearest I got to frostnip was very mild on the face due to not having a heated visor - that sounds like a really good thing. Reverted to face mask and goggles and problem went away. Was working so spending long hours outside every day in nearly all weathers. Think I just like my luxuries too much so really need to just get on with it!
Still going to have heated feet and gloves though - I may be a wimp but I'm going to be a warm wimp.
Anyway - who's going to be first to Nordkapp in winter by three wheeler?
