That was my point earlier - as someone very new to a Morgan. It gives a vintage driving experience, in which you have to work a bit for your pleasure, and accept some compromises, yet without the concerns of reliability, corrosion, parts availability, etc. And I have already experienced the "morgan factor" - people want to look at it, sit in it, or just admire it as it passes by. An elderly lady out for a stroll gazed admiringly at my 4/4 as I passed her - and turned round to watch me go past, with a broad smile on her face. I wonder what memories we had evoked - now that's something I didn't expect and wouldn't have happened if I'd driven past in, say, an Audi TT convertible.

When I chose a sports car I didn't want just another car I could drive to work in, nor did I need the hassle of an older classic. It's a perfect fit for me (and I didn't need to be marketed to).

I appreciate those considering Aero 8's may have a different profile.
