I have noticed that there are different rear hubs, belt sprockets etc. My car and others produced in late 2012 and up to about Feb 2013 have a set-up in which the rear wheel is not quite centered. I believe this dates back to late pre-production changes when the drive belt was made wider and the wheel/tyre narrower (to fit).
Later cars have what seems to me to be a central alignment and you can fit the later rear hub / sprocket to earlier cars which I will do when the tyre needs replacing.
Haven't noticed any effect on handling (a driver only on board probably makes a much more significant difference to corner weights etc.
