I have replaced several worn back tyres on my M3W and never had them balanced, it's not been a problem. You can buy a bubble type balancer kit and some stick on weights from eBay for about £60. They work well for the front wheels as well if you cannot find a tyre fitter with the correct cones for wire wheels to fit a dynamic balancer
