My neighbour owns the local Mazda garage ,here's the stats on your well engineered mx5 folding roof that seems to be the constant talking point on this thread for some odd reason .......the folding roof fits into the original Convertable space ,so no lost boot ,however it weighs 37 kg more than the standard convertable . Thats the same as putting an average 11year old behind the seats . This weight is said to be an industry achievement as many other folding roofs are much heavier ! Perhaps the aero needs that extra supercharged 100hp with her ever increasing waist line ........ Perhaps MMC could make one out of Balsa wood they seem to be very good with ash .......yes one more sleep Ray
