I've got a 2013 F31 Touring with their N20 Gasoline motor in its lowest power format, 184ps.

It is an unwerwhelming thing, cold it sounds like a diesel, throttle respons is OK with no obvious turbo lag but compared with the straight 6 2.0L unit it replaced it is slow, wooden and whilst it does rev it sounds as if it would prefer not to do so.

But if the Aeros are built round BMW electronics then it makes total sense to go that way for an Aero 4, using a BMW motor producing 250 bhp. With BMWs new ZF8HP transmission it would be very popular.
