Re mapping the Roadster.
If a reputable engine mapper has the appropriate software then fine tuning can be done. There are excellent people out there.
OK at a price......
Duratec engines are being remapped by many such tuners to produce some excellent results.
Morgan have their in- house people but why not deal with these specialists?
Collaboration would yield some good results.
Omex are already involved as an example?
The volume of Roadsters likely to be produced will not be big so unit cost for work done would be higher than for higher volume cars.
A balancing act to contend with.
If the Cyclone engine had known issues then surely MMC would be aware of these and pursued it from the outset?
There appears to have been a mindset to build prematurely, probably to generate cashflow, remembering the post crash slow recovery of the economy.
At least MMC have survived.
I hope lessons have been learned re shortfall in development and building in quality and resilience.
