Thanks Em, I effectively agree, I actually do not think it matters whether it's a 5k or 500k car, poor design and serious failures should not be tolerated, in fact in a lower price car which will be sold in high volumes the exposure for serious or dangerous failings is greater and it is ever more important that issues are dealt with in a correct manner.
MMC are a low volume and medium to high cost manufacturer, there obviously have had issues for various reasons, I personally believe that they try to address them appropriately, or as best they can. Whether that sits well with us as customers or not is up to individuals to decide.
