Well I too support the MSCC. Have made great friends through the club, was the competition secretary and later Chairman of NorceMog, raced my car in the Morgan Challenge race series for nine years, had a fantastic time at MOG2016 at Llangollen and still enjoy the company of its mrmbers, some for over thirty years.
Inevitably, the MSCC needs to change but I suspect that if it accommodated the majority of views expressed in this thread, it would lose a lot of its existing support.
Clubs cannot satisfy everyone and one can look to the MG world for evidence of that; the MG Car Club, MG Owners Club and MG Enthusiasts Club exist because people want different things from clubs.
As said before, consider what you might contribute to the MSCC and Morgan owners local to you. A scenic run through North Wales, the Berkshire Downs, the North Yorkshire Moors, arrange a run to Duxford, Cosford or Yeovilton. Arrange a run including a trip on the Severn Valley, North Yorkshire Moors or Bluebell Railway. Or even write an article for Miscellany!
Please, anything but winge and bitch from the sidelines and accuse people unknown to you of incompetence and self interest.
