Some good thoughts Peter. I had a concern that maybe in some way the tank (with pump) could move separately from the chassis and because the fuel line is clipped to chassis causing some "tugging action" on rough road. I thought this might be the case because the first time it happened was immediately after a speed bump - always navigated slowly and no grounding. Anyway unless someone tells me otherwise the tank and chassis are in complete union and therefore move together. Also I checked for "tightness or stretch" in the fuel line adjacent to pump- plenty of slack and after the last incident I put a very slack tyrap to lift the tank return line so more aligned with connector hole. I also checked with Morgan and you can only buy a complete front-to-back fuel line kit.I also wondered if there was a filter/restrictor on the fuel return to tank line (as this is the one that's blown twice) and the pump pressure returning fuel (volume highest at tickover) was creating a big back pressure? Not been able to verify either way. Vibration is a thought but no problem with the other connector 1.5 inches away on same assembly for fuel to injectors line. The really annoying thing is that I can only get 2nd hand connectors (which are in theory single use) and same with O rings that are damaged by the fuel line blow out. The other pain is that I feel so insecure driving the car because when it goes in game over!
