How many cyclists do you know who don't own a car? The only one I can think of is our local Green councillor, and he never dresses in Lycra or gets in anyone's way.
I don't know of any cyclists that pay tax on their bicycle, which was my understanding of the posters meaning.
Given that they cause a disproportionate amount of delays and accidents they should perhaps be taxed at a commensurate rate, say £500/year.
I would love to ride my bicycle on the road but given your earlier statistics I'll stick to hanging around with Islamic terrorists, it's obviously much safer.
