just for completeness, Allstate, great local Agent finally figured it out, m/c insurance but they do have in their system (unlike state farm) that you only need c class license to drive a M3W 100/300 with 500 deductible = $832.18 ... so for me Grundy is the winner - cheapest, agreed value full coverage and enough miles and leeway in "for pleasure" to make it work for us.
