... and so having decided on Grundy, I diligently filled out my quote paperwork and sent it in, I checked the box for "will you drive it to work" since their website and sales person said "It is even OK if occasionally you drive your collector car to work to show it off to friends", I annotated in the remarks section that it would not be used as a daily driver, just driven to work occasionally per their stated coverage ... to which they sent me a form to sign "Acknowledgement of use" that explicitly stated "It will not be driven to work or school or used for business or commercial purposes." ... so, I wouldn't have a leg to stand on in a court of law other than a sales person said it was ok to drive it to work occasionally ... I explained courteously my concern that the document they were asking me to sign conflicted their stated coverage and was told sign the document or we decline your coverage, I asked to speak to a manager about my concern and was told that I couldn't and that they would simply reiterate what i was being told, i asked again and was told I had been declined. Hmmm ... so, Allstate it is, at least I can use my M3W however and whenever I see fit and not have it be a very expensive dust collecting paperweight.
