From time to time a thread is needed to articulate complaints. This results in a slightly distorted picture, because many people have had to deal with poor quality here and there. But have so many owners experienced all mistakes, or each only a few of them?
And it's natural that once the topic is started, it's posted more and more as if you find out that 100 cars collapsed in one day.

I am aware that this thread is about quality control. It's never a wrong topic, and Morgan should also perhaps take a little more care here so that problems are not systematically bred.
In addition, ordinary cars are becoming more and more reliable, and quality demands are rising unnoticed so that the difference to a handmade Morgan could become clearer.

I don't want to gloss over anything, and I see where quality is being cut on the car, but I also have to say that in four years and 56,000 km of ownership I am very satisfied with the reliability.

I had worse fears because I previously sold the Morgans again after two years and didn't know what it would look like after a longer period of time. That turned out to be unfounded.

Apart from the investments in upgrades to the chassis, the exhaust system and the ECU, as well as a prophylactically exchanged radiator - these were voluntary expenses that had nothing to do with reliability except for the radiator - I only had problems with pulsating brake discs and a defective light switch.
That's what I'd like to say as a counterbalance, because the complaints told here are certainly sometimes part of the Morgan experience. But in many cases they are probably not the norm for so many faults on all cars altogether. I don't want to ignore the fact that even that can happen.

In the end I would like to say that a Morgan has sometimes to live with profane, sometimes unnecessary but annoying problems, but she creates supernatural moments. And those are timeless, for me at least worth the effort.
