The more I think about this the more I like it - in the family snotter.
For a start the family car ( C200 diesel) is so sluggish tjat overtaking is a rarity as is vigorous driving. But I do find that since the police / local authorities started messing around with the old standard speed limits ( 70 dual, 60 main, 30 built up) and put on limits that bear no relationship to the roads or building or anything much else, I rarely am sure what the speed limit it. And it doesnt help that there are so many road signs you dont register many of them. So something like my sat nav that beeps when I go over the limit is really quite handy.
Lets face it, most driving is in traffic queues, with minds on anything else, drifting along with the flow.
For anyone who doesnt like the idea I am sure that Ebay will be full or adverts for small 12v GPS jammers to disable the system in your car. If putting some baking foil over the aerial doesnt work anyway.
Fascinated to read all about the facilities you rich peopole already have on modern cars . Our most modern vehicle is 2009 and it doesne ven have built in sat nav never mind adaptive crusie control. I didnt realise the latter had hit the streets already.
