Question?...would I ever get used to the steering wheel and the gear knob I wonder ?
The steering wheel is fine, but I agree the gear lever is what it is. I don't understand why they couldn't have used the one in the +8, it matches the hand brake.
That gear lever would have to have an option ie a wooden lump with stainless rod to the gearbox !
I know a man who can cover it in a wood veneer, and for that matter any other parts you wish. He made a solid wooden gear knob for me but said that it would have been easier for him to apply a veneer to the original metal.
