Hello,
I am in the process of building what will be my version of a M3W. I am hoping some of the members here can help me with various bits about theirs. I would love to just purchase a real Morgan, but I don't see that being a financial possibility in my lifetime. I am, however, pretty handy with design and fabrication so I figured I could build my own for a fraction of the cost, and know I will be able to work on it and get the parts when the time arises. I have purchased and read the book, Build Your Dream!: The process and thinking behind building a replica Morgan 3-Wheeler. I would like my version to be quite a bit different though.

Base/Donor bike is a BMW R1100RT. I intend on using the factory Paralever (shaft drive), ABS and gauges.
Intermediate housing between engine and transmission is my design and will NOT use or require a compensator due to the engine selection
Transmission is a Mazda Miata NB 5 speed
Transfer case (in place of the M3W Bevel Box) is my own design
Basic vehicle dimensions will be similar to a M3W with the exception of mine being wider as I am a bit on the wide side myself and want to be comfortable.
frame will be steel tubing TIG welded and body panels will be aluminum and composite.

I'll post a few pics once I figure out a way to get the file size down to the 1kb limit.

If anyone on here has done what I am trying to do I would love to hear from you!
