Great project.... Keep the updates coming!
Is that a duplex chain or twin chains on parallel sprockets?..... If the later keep an eye on stretch.... Twin chains have been used on high power bike engined single seater hillclimb racers..... What can happen is one chain stretches a bit, which puts more of the strain on the shorter one, which stretches... Etc, etc, etc...... For high stress chain drive (200+bhp driving wide sticky slicks) most people nowadays use single EK DRZ2 drag chain... Massively heavy side plates so very stretch resistant.... Not an o-ring chain but that wouldn't be an issue fully enclosed like that.
Great work... Look forward to seeing your progress.

It is a double roller chain and sprockets from Cloyes that is typically used in high performance big block chevrolet engines making well over 1000hp driving the camshaft. I worked with the manufacturer on the engineering specs to get the numbers right. The whole system will be submerged in gear oil as well. This chain has over 13000 lbs tensile strength. The fatigue life should be excellent as well given the applied loads.
