The big thing in my mind is that the aluminium chassis cars get written off so easily. It doesn't take much damage for it to be thrown away. Whereas the old steel chassis cars can last forever; the last time I saw a statistic was in that university study where the 4/4 came out so high on eco score precisely because so many of them were still going 70 years later. The new method seems to have "throwaway" in it's genes...... doesn't it? Nick
