After which there seemed to be a change in ideals of Morgan folk who began to look at possibilities for power steering, more comfortable suspension, perhaps a tad more bling, and with that more heater performance perhaps even an auto-box and wider doors, air-con can`t be too far away..... Had you asked me about that kind of stuff 20 years ago, I might have replied that it would all have been as useful as an ashtray on a motor cycle.... TODAY.... Well we are all getting older, our expectations and NEEDS have altered... Truth be told wider doors and a slow acting ejector seat on my mid 80`s +8 might seem to better fit my NEEDS these days.. As for new buyers expectations.... I suspect a bit like us...err...mature Morganeers, they expect degrees of comfort that we have become used to in our mundane-mobiles, when they jump into a new and rather expensive Morgan to try it for size...? That being the case the CX seems a logical next step..?

Well I ordered aircon with the car and have no regrets. When the temperature gets up into the 30s and the sun starts to fry my brains I put the hood up and the aircon on. It is not climate control but it is better than nothing.

As for ride comfort you can see what I have done.

My expectations as a buyer in 2012 were not that I was buying a car with an antique chassis and suspension and suspension that needed greasing every few kilometers. What I expected was a moderately modern car with a classic sports car body. I did not expect the CX but my expectations were probably halfway between the trad and the CX.
